She is probably best known as a performer for World Wrestling Entertainment.

Born in Boise, at age ten she moved to the small town of McCall, Idaho after her parents divorced. She was painfully shy, but she quickly found friends in her new school. She quickly found her niche in many school activities, including cheerleading and dance, and was very competitive in track and field.

During high school, Torrie's interest in modeling grew serious. She developed an interest in fitness modeling. Torrie began working out and building muscles. She decided to enter herself in the 1997 Ms. Galaxy fitness competition, and, with no experience in the field, placed thirteenth. A year later at the same competition she placed first.

In the past few months Torrie has enterprised into the World of Professional Wrestling in the WCW, appearing on Nitro, Thunder and Pay Per Views. Aside from the WCW, WWE, Baywatch, and some advertisement work, Wilson has yet to achieve anything of note in her quest for fame. Her successful fight with an eating disorder is perhaps her greatest victory and we encourage her for that. To turn that desperate situation around and become a top fitness celebration competitor is fabulous. But aside from that personal pride, Wilson has yet to hit the big-time, unless you include trailer-park teenage WWE fanatics with posters of her on the wall and hairy palms.

Torrie Wilson and The Franchise Shane Douglas make one of the most dynamic duos in Wrestling today. Torrie spent a great amount of time in WCW when she was not fulfilling her potential but that changed the day she became the valet for The Franchise Shane Douglas. Using all the dirty tricks of the trade, Torrie is a major help to Shane Douglas during his matches. Starting out as a fitness model, Torrie won several competitions and was on the cover of many fitness related magazines before she joined WCW in 1999. Since then, she appears at the side of The Franchise and has become a major player in WCW. In her own words, Torrie never leaves home without a cell phone and some cash.

With the help of a coach and a grueling regimen, Wilson achieved her goal of victory at the Ms. Galaxy competition in St. Petersburg, Florida. Many magazine covers and pictorial work followed and Wilson became interested in extending her talent further.

On the August 22, 2005 edition of RAW, it was manifest that Torrie and with Candice Michelle, were traded to RAW. Along with Candice, she would turn incline on the same night, attacking the 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro. This turn marked the first time that Wilson was a incline in WWE after the end of the Invasion storyline. Their feud with Massaro would continue over the next couple weeks, as the duo, along with their disciplinarian, Victoria, would make things difficult for Massaro. Massaro would even the score on the September 12, 2005 edition of RAW, as she brought out a returning Trish Stratus and proceeded with Stratus to take out the heels. This would lead to a tag match at Unforgiven, as the team of Stratus and Massaro defeated Wilson (who came to the ring holding her dog Chloe) and Victoria.

The feud continued into WWE Homecoming where Trish Stratus and Ashley defeated Torrie, Candice, and Victoria in the first ever three on two Bra and Panties Match, by stripping all three of their opponents. All six women( plus Maria Kanellis ) will be involved in a "Fulfill Your Fantasy" Diva battle royal at Taboo Tuesday 2005 for the Woman's Championship.
