Aaron E. Eckhart is an American film actor who was born in California, and spent most of his teenage years in England and Australia. Being a person who supported The Church of Jesus, he enrolled into the Brigham Young University to graduate in 1994 excelling in acting and theater.
Aaron started his career by appearing in TV series in the early 90s. later he was recognized for his talent and asked to star in the 1997 film ‘In the Company of Men’. He plays the role of Chad, a sociopathic ladies man, which earns him some awards. Through out his career in the late 90s and early 2000, he played many co starring roles and even did a couple of title roles.
He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2006 for ‘Thank you for Smoking’. He plays the role of a cigarette promoter by the name of Nick Naylor, who is employed by Big Tobacco to make cigarettes sell and stop political criticism against tobacco. The film by itself gained a lot of recognition and is said to be one of the most controversial films of the American film industry. Aaron Eckhart too gives a very entertaining performance with along with Katie Holmes and William H. Macy. His acting has been recognized by popular director Chris Nolan who has asked him to employ his skills in his ‘Batman Begins’ sequel ‘The Dark Knight’ in which he will play the role of Harvey Dent, who eventually become the Marvel supervillian Two-Face.
