Alec Baldwin is an American born actor, who is the eldest of the Baldwin brothers and is popularly known for his TV appearances, such as in ’30 Rock’. Alec was born in New York, and graduated with a BFA from the New York University in 1994.

Alec’s first major role was in the TV soap ‘The Doctors’ during the early 80s. Through out the 80s he was a key candidate to be chosen in many TV shows and gradually earned his reputation as a good actor. It was in 1988 that he starred in ‘Beetlejuice’ and ‘Working girl’, both of which became box office hits. In 1990 he starred with Sean Connery in ‘The Hunt for Red October’, based on the best selling novel by Tom Clancy. ‘The Hunt for Red October’ was yet another box office hit that raised Alec’s profile to new opportunities. In 1992, Alec starred with Al Pacino in ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’. One of his notable roles apart from this would be in the 1993 film ‘Malice’, where he stars along with Nicole Kidman and Bill Pullman.
