Brendan James Fraser was born in 1968 in Indiana to Canadian Parents. Apart from his acting career, Brendan also is a huge photography enthusiastic. He is said to be an accomplished amateur photographer, who loves instant photography, thus he has used several polaroids in his movies and TV shows.
Brendan started his acting career in 1991 with ‘Dogfight’ and did his first lead role in ‘Encino Man’. Having appeared in many other movies through out the early and mid ninties, his recognition started to catch up. In 1997 he starred as ‘George of the jungle’ and ‘Dudley Do-right’ which further added fame to his career as a comedian.
In 1999 he did his first heroics role by starring in ‘The Mummy’ and also starred in its sequel ‘The Mummy Returns’. Both film were highly praised and were box office hits. Later he starred with Elizabeth Hurley in the dark comedy ‘Bedazzled’, which was a remake of a 1960s movie by the same name. In March 2006, Brendan was honored with star on the Canada’s Walk of Fame. In 2008 he is scheduled to star in the third sequel to the The Mummy, ‘The curse of the Dragon’.
