Robert Selden Duvall is well known American Actor who has starred in many movies ever since the early 60s. He started by doing some small roles in movies like ‘To kill a mocking bird’, ‘Ned Pepper’ and in the internationally acclaimed 1970 army comedy ‘MASH’. His performance and skills earned him his break through role in the Francis Ford Coppola’s Classic ‘The Godfather I & II’. He plays the key role of Tom Hagen who is the Don’s advisor and attorney.
In 1979, he was nominated for an Academy award for his role as Lt. Kilgore in ‘Apocalypse Now’. He is still known for the line he says in the movie – ‘I love the smell of napalm in the morning’ which is considered iconic and heroic. His recent appearance was in ‘Thank you for smoking’, where he has a guest appearance as ‘The captain’, who is the controller of Big Tobacco in America.
In his personal life Robert has married four times and got married to Luciana Pedraza in 2005. Pedraza is an Argentinean Actress who is 40 years younger in comparison to Robert.
